CATACLYSMIC SPAWN

CATACLYSMIC SPAWN (shortened to CatsPaw) is an underground Ukranian death metal band consisting of cat-people. They gain some mainstream popularity after being discovered by a label enchanted by their unique image, as they do not hide their cat traits and instead utilize it for their brand itself.
Their branding is inspired by an older underground Russian band [name tba] whose front man would transform into their full panther form onstage at their finale.
CatsPaw band members are all in a polyamorous relationship with each other, of which range from platonic to romantic, sexual to non-sexual, and everything in between.
Right now this universe is more expanded than what I actually have drawn LOL

In private, depending on her mood and which band member/partner he’s with, he may unveil or wear different levels of modest clothing.

primarily they/it, but any or no pronouns works - competely unaligned, indifferent to gender or labelsTheir body is somewhat hard to make out visually. Has mass, but appears almost two-dimensional unless viewed at certain angles when well-lit. In the dark, their form is almost impossible to make out save for their eyes.
While they don't technically glow, its eyes stay the same bright white in any lighting. Their body is warm to the touch, and has quite a bit of resistance to it. While the rest of the Cryptidz have human forms they can maintain to different degrees, Able has to consciously keep up their form, so the most humanoid form they can take has two legs, four arms, and a head.
While their body and appendages stay fairly solid, it can't keep its head quite as tangible, so the shape gently undulates. They can change their size at will, and when needing to lay low, will hide in an object.Able was previously named Saber. Their story has gone through a lot of change and I'm sure it will continue to, but for now...Able is a void entity put on earth for reasons currently unknown. It lost its memory, and has been traveling as inconspicuously as possible trying to find an answer for centuries. Only within the past decade have they been interacting directly with humanity, though it's still on a very minor scale.
Azeban was the first entity they came into contact with. Being a void entity, it was easy for them to avoid any kind of interaction with anything, yet their interaction was made possible due to Azeban's keen instincts.
They met Ojasini in their travels and she stuck to them like glue. The two became fast friends and Able eventually introduced her to Azeban.
It later met Diesel and was immediately taken with him. They spent a long time breaking down her walls and getting him to open up. The two bonded pretty immediately over not being native to earth, though that's not something Diesel will ever admit to anyone but them.

Diesel

she/he/they - nonbinary? genderfluid? gay?? lesbian?? they don't know what's going on and don't really care for labelsHuge asshole (affectionate). Essentially a disgraced space prince on the run from her home planet for space crimes (abandoning the crown). Crash landed on Earth and has no way to get off of it. Hates their home planet but is also really homesick for it. Despite everything, she's blended in fairly well to society with the help of an ability that allows her to create a human disguise. Has a kind of begrudging respect for Earth, but would rather be, like, anywhere else.
When they landed, she ended up in the Doctor's "backyard" (it's bumfuck nowhere in the Sonoran Desert, Arizona so backyard is a broad term). She helped Diesel recover from his injuries and they've lived on her property ever since
After being on Earth for 19 years, they met Able. About two years of fumbling around each other, they finally officially became a couple. All kinds of shenanigans with the couple, Ojasini, Azeban, and the Doctor ensue.
Two more years later, her sibling Coal ends up on Earth, intending to hunt them down at the order of their father, Methane.

she/they - nonbinary lesbianShe lived quietly in the rural forested areas of Maharashtra, India for centuries. Mostly alone until she met Able, she would occasionally interact with any children she'd bump into, but no one else, out of a fear of persecution, though she craved deeper connections.
When she met Able, they became fast friends, and she stuck closely to them. Trading the comfort of her home for adventure, she traveled with Able to the United States, where it introduced them to Azeban, who would eventually become her girlfriend.

she/they/he - Two Spirit lesbianBorn centuries ago in what is now Maine and raised Abenaki, chose Azeban as her name and left after losing her family and brethren. Traveled across north america before bumping into Able. The two slowly became friends, and traveled together for a while until reaching the west coast, where they split up. Able crossed the sea and Azeban stayed in north america.
After meeting Ojasini and becoming a couple, Able parted with them briefly. The couple bonded and settled down for a while until Able invited them to Arizona, where they settled more permanently.

Methane

Creating an empire spanning several galaxies that has lasted thousands of years. Parent of Coal and Diesel. Sent Coal to track and capture Diesel after she committed treason. Not much is known about Methane, even by Diesel and Coal.

Lived a fairly standard life until Diesel crashed landed on her property after finishing her residency (31). It really put her skill to the test as she nursed this alien back to health. It was really just too much for her to really think in depth about, so she went with the flow and has been letting him live on her property since.

Coal

he/they - queerDiesel's younger sibling. Like Diesel, Coal crash lands on earth, though the wreckage is not unsalvageable like Diesel’s was. While servants on Coal’s ship are working on repairs, he sets out to find his sibling.

Senses

My vigilante universe! These guys used to be BNHA ocs but they were really only ocs for it because I liked the general concept of the BNHA universe so! I divorced them from it and made my own <3

General Outline for the Senses Universe:
Takes place in an alternate earth where Senses develop in an early species of human alongside homo erectus. Senses are considered a natural mutation of unknown origin that causes “powers” and/or physical adaptations, ranging from very minor changes to what’s (controversially and outdatedly) considered the “original” or “intended” evolutionary line to in-universe homo sapiens, to homo sapiens with traits that have convergently evolved alongside other, non-human, species (for example: Tadao. He is a homo sapien, but his family line has convergently evolved traits of gators and snakes), and even to traits not observed in any earth animals. This mutation inexplicably causes an incredibly rapid evolutionary process. Certain groups once believed that certain races of people were entirely different species to homo sapiens, but that idea was disproven after extensive genetic testing and comparison. This group no longer exists as a body, but the effects of their ideology still plague many regions.

Ki-tae, Deathless

VERY old ocs from their own universe thingy. In the process of redesigning them somewhat and tbh their story has been forever a work in progress lmfaoIn short, though; Ki-tae discovers one day that they simply cannot die. Permanently, anyway. At midnight, their body heals to a perfect previous condition with no trace of any prior events. The extent of this deathlessness has not been fully tested, though they've experimented with its limits before. They do not know why, how, or when this happened to them... But someone else might. Who knows. Ki-tae is an incredibly traumatized, aromantic agender sex worker who is working on getting better with the help of their best friend/roommate Philipe Fuerte de Reyes.

After they taught him to swim, he ends up frequently spending his time in the water and adds deep ocean items like seagrass and kelp to his craft pool.
Glow squid friend shows him a shipwreck not far from his island and he immediately falls in love and gains a desire to explore beyond his island home.
Their island will always be their true home, but they do create bases in different places (especially in their favorite biomes). After a long journey they enjoy going back to their island the most.

xe/xem/xyr - 32

a forewarning, there is LOTS of reading ahead because I love xem so much and have xyr entire story figured out and how it both fits in with and changes canon compared to both the anime and manga <3 a very brief tdlr for xyr story/whole thing is in the images above!I love Soul Eater so much, it was one of my first animes as a child so I have so many feelings about sonas and self inserts when it comes to it. My first self insert/sona was for Soul Eater, and while VERY cringe, was an early indicator of me being trans before I even realized I was trans.
I'm not gonna talk abt THEM though, we're here to focus on Dagda!

** ˗ˋˏ ♡ ˎˊ˗**

Dagda was the first working result of Medusa's experiments with black blood, that later "failed" when xe eventually broke free of Medusa's influence.In her attempt with Dagda, the idea was to introduce and bond an infant with black blood which would theoretically split the soul, creating a fully integrated weapon/meister that functioned as two while still being one. Unlike Crona, Medusa did not replace all of Dagda's blood, but instead added the black blood. This is one of two things she attributes to xyr eventual "failure." This did not work as intended, and instead the black blood hijacked Dagda's demon weapon abilities, so instead of being able to transform xyrself to weapon form, xyr black blood transforms instead as if it were its own being, all while still not having its own soul. Another side effect/result of this intrusion is Dagda developing polycythaemia. Dagda gives a name to xyr black blood; Nine.Dagda has a complex relationship with Nine, and how xe views xyr own humanity. Nine is tied inextricably to xyr emotions and can seem to act as if it has a mind of its own. Dagda has no idea if, while not having its own soul, xe should consider Nine its own being or simply an extension of xyrself. This internal struggle is what kickstarted xyr rebellion and eventual freedom from Medusa.Xe has always been a strong-willed, self-assured, and stubborn person, even from childhood. Medusa secretly theorizes that this strong will is part of the reason for xyr "failure." Xyr internal struggle comes to a head at 16, as Dagda's emotions completely overtake xem and xe falls into a blind rampage. The fallout of xyr actions gives xem a sense of sick clarity, and so xe turns xyr anger onto Medusa. Xe manages to land a severe wound and takes the opportunity to flee.Dagda briefly clashes with Stein and Spirit, fending the two off and redirecting them toward Medusa, though the conflict left more than enough time for her to quietly escape. Xe travels the world, leaving xyr mother far behind xem, not knowing that only a year later Medusa would continue her experiments, having her next child, Crona.Dagda is completely unaware of Crona's existence until xe hears of Arachne's return and heads to Death City, where xe knows more information about the madness returning will be found. While passing by Stein's house, xe senses Medusa's snakes within Marie and decides to investigate. Xe waits outside, and when Crona leaves, xe is too stunned to even move because it's so obvious they're xyr sibling. Xe curses xemself once Crona is out of sight, at a loss of what to do.Xe is caught off guard by Stein, who noticed Dagda as he was returning home, and confronted xem by cornering xem against the tree xe had been hiding behind. The two immediately recognize each other despite it being 16 years since their one meeting. They walk to a park to talk for a while after some initial distrust, and quickly warm up to each other. Dagda explains xyr situation and in return Stein catches xem up on the madness situation. They come to an understanding and Stein promises to help xem get into contact with Crona the next day without alerting Death, after explaining their situation as well.Dagda sits in the park for a long time, just thinking. Despite the discipline xe had managed to cultivate over the many years of travel, madness threatens to overtake xem. It nearly succeeds until Nine wraps around xyr hand, bringing xem back down to earth.Stein brings Crona to meet Dagda in the forest and the two have a very intense, tear-filled meeting, bonding immediately. Stein gives them a private moment to themselves. Crona attempts to confess to Dagda what they had done, but fear overtakes them and they shut down. Dagda reluctantly parts with them and Stein escorts Crona back to the DWMA. Events follow anime, in which Crona does not return to Medusa, and gets expelled by Death, but this is due in part to Dagda's support. Maka did learn of Crona's treachery and stil didn't say anything though, like in the manga.Maka and Soul chase Crona to the sand pit, where Soul learns of Crona's betrayal, important exchange between Maka and Crona still happens. Dagda, Marie, and Crona confront Medusa to rescue Stein, where together Crona, Ragnorok, and Dagda with Nine do end up killing Medusa. From this point on, a combination of events from the anime and manga occur, in such a way that most of the plot points from the manga occur, influenced by the changes that have occured.Broadly, what occurs: Soul becomes a Death Scythe, Mifune is not killed, Medusa obviously cannot influence Crona to continue striving to be a Kishin nor can she take over Arachne's body after her death, Death is eventually killed in his fight with Azura and subsequently Kid becomes a Shinigami, ultimately dissolving the Death Scythes and the conflict between the DWMA and witches. While Crona and Maka do fight Azura, it's Dagda that ends up sacrificing xyr black blood to trap the Kishin once more. This results in Dagda losing Nine and xyr black blood abilities, neither xem or Crona has to sacrifice themselves. Crona goes on to live with Maka and Soul, and Dagda, having nowhere to go, stays with Stein and Marie. The three later develop a relationship.Crona and Dagda begin learning how to live more regular lives. Dagda eventually begins developing xyr demon weapon abilities, now that the black blood is no longer impacting xyr ability. Stein and Dagda have a conversation when xe discovers that xe isn't a club like Nine was, and is instead a mace. Dagda muses about how xe had never been sure if Nine was its own being, or just another part of xyrself. Xe comments that this could be proof that maybe it was. Stein points out that it could also mean that since a club and a mace aren't all that dissimilar, this could mean that sacrificing an initially alien piece of xyrself had allowed xem to truly be xyrself. Dagda agrees, and states that xe would never really know, and that was okay. The two sit in a comfortable silence, holding hands.

Misc Info:

Dagda's personality is very smiley, happy-go-lucky, and intense. Even when xe's angry, there's usually still a big grin on xyr face. When xe stops smiling is when you know you've fucked up. Though, this doesn't necessarily mean xe's kind. While not actively mean-spirited, xe is still very stubborn and as such, typically ends up creating a lot of conflict accidentally.Did I mention xe's intense? Xe's very loud, talkative, and xyr mood can flip on a dime. Xe's done a lot of work to manage xyr mood swings, but there's a lot of intense feelings swirling under the surface regardless. As a child, xe was pretty different to how they are as an adult; a quiet know-it-all with a permanent glare. Just as intense and headstrong, though.Dagda is like Crona in that both xyr sex and gender are "undefined," however I interpret this in canon for Crona as them being both intersex and nonbinary. So similarly, Dagda is intersex and xenogender. Crona specifically chooses not to use labels, while Dagda does.Dagda's mace form can both act as a regular mace and partially disconnect into a flail.Dagda is initially not fond of Ragnorok at all, and will punch him whenever he harasses Crona. While eventually they develop a friendly relationship, Dagda still has no tolerance for his violence toward Crona (though he does eventually stop completely).I'm intentionally not confirming if Nine has its own sentience or not, because I want to keep it vague. It feels more profound and heartwarming that way. Please feel free to interpret it however you like!Marie/Stein/Dagda polycule ftwPS I promise I'm not making it a weird competing thing with Medusa and Stein having their own thing, it's Completely separate from Dagda's relationship w Stein. Not only do they start having Feelings well after Medusa is killed, it's very much not a rebound situation either. Basically this is just a fun thing I'm doing to fulfill my cringe ass crush on Stein I had when I was a kid, but I can recognize how Dagda being Medusa's kid might make the situation seem weird, so I feel the need to clarify.

Spiderman - Mars Dean. he/him. bi trans man. in his hearly 20's (my age), 5'5"Tarantula - Mars in the Sludge "suit." Sludge uses they/them, and when they're both acting as Tarantula, they refer to themself as "we."Bitten by a radioactive spider while working at Octavius Industries. Got the typical spiderperson abilites, like enhanced strength, speed, wall climbing, as well as organic web shooters, and claws and venomous fangs similar to Miguel O'HaraLater bonded with a symbiote named Sludge in a fight with Norman Osborn, after Mars had broken into Osborn Industries. This ends up creating an accidental double identity in his hero work, with his original suit being recognized as Spiderman, while the Sludge "suit" is dubbed Tarantula by the media
He originally tries to clear up the confusion, but after not being believed, he leans into the double identity to keep his image as Spiderman more wholesome, while they can properly hunt down Norman Osborn for the murder of Mars' father as TarantulaSludge is fairly chill for a symbiote, but they have a bad habit of enabling Mars' anger. Otherwise they are pretty silly and relaxed. Loves jokes and teasing Mars. They're in love ♡ Sludge has hammerspace in their mouth because I think it's funny and they're just a silly lil guy
